Oil and gas pipes
Uraltrubprom produces round longitudinal electric-welded pipes with diameter from 114 to 630 mm and wall thickness from 3 to 22 mm.
Modern welding methods provide the weld strength as high as that of base metal. This makes it possible to use welded pipes in areas where only seamless pipes were earlier used, e.g. at arrangement of oil and gas fields, atomic engineering.
Oil and gas pipes produced by Uraltrubprom are applied:
- as main lines for transferring gas, water, oil, etc. to long distances.
- for construction of high pressure gas pipelines of gas distribution systems.
- for construction of main gas and oil pipelines, field and service pipelines transferring non-corrosive and active media.
Uraltrubprom applies a cutting-edge technology for producing longitudinal electric-welded oil and gas pipes, which is the only one for Russia. According to this technology, steel pipes are made of coiled steel and the weld is formed by induction welding (high-frequency currents), type 1.
Advantages of this technology:
- Thin wall with the minimal deviations of thickness compared to seamless pipe. Thus, pipe with diameter 530 can have wall thickness of 5 mm.
- thick-walled welded pipes replace seamless ones. Uraltrubprom produces ERW pipes with diameter 530, 630 mm from coiled steel with wall thickness up to 22 mm! This is an excellent alternative to seamless pipes and pipes welded from a steel sheet, first of all in respect of price. Our pipes are 10% cheaper on the average.
- capability to produce a pipe with length up to 24 m without cross joint.
- induction welding with HFC ensures the highest quality of the weld compared to hidden arc welding.
Oil and gas pipes produced by Uraltrubprom meet the requirements of the following standards:
GOST 10705, GOST 10704, GOST 20295, GOST 31447, GOST 56403.
API 5L, API 5CT, ISO 11960
Besides, Uraltrubprom produces oil and gas pipes with additional TU requirements: ▼
- TU 1303-002-12281190. Longitudinal electric-welded pipes for main gas and oil pipelines and field pipelines with operating pressure of up to 9.8 MPa. This TU is developed according to requirements of CTO Gazprom 2-4.1-713 (PJSC "Gazprom")
- TU 1303-003-12281990. Longitudinal electric-welded pipes for oil pipelines with operating pressure of up to 9.8 MPa incl. This TU is developed according to requirements of ОТТ-23.040.00-КТН-050-11 PJSC "Transneft".
- TU 1303-005-12281990. Steel pipes with round section for field pipelines featuring enhanced operational reliability (with operating pressure of up to 9.8 MPa). Pipes for construction and repair of field pipelines of PJSC "NK" Rosneft".
- TU 1303-006.3-593377520. For construction of field pipelines transporting oil and oil products, as well as fresh and service water with operating pressure of up to 7.4 MPa in the conditions of corrosive media and at ambient temperature from -60°С to +40°С and temperature of transported media from plus 5°С to plus 40°С.
- TU 143Р-1471. For arrangement of oil and gas deposits, main gas, oil, and oil product pipelines and field pipelines.
